This place has excellent home made food. I had huevos rancheros with green sauce on the eggs. So good and not too spicy. The beans were excellent and made from scratch. The home fries were really good as well. Don’t let the exterior of the cafe keep you from going in to enjoy great food and excellent service.

The place is falling apart; the ceiling is coming down. The light fixtures are hanging with the wires out. There is no ac. The site runs off of dirty fans. The food is super greasy without any taste. The juice is down. The personal is not courteous. The place, in general, lacks genuine.

Terrible. Lady couldn’t even understand what we were trying to order. We left. Horrible experience.

Nastiest restaurant I've ever been in and most run down. They somehow must get away without being inspected. Stay away!

A true Americana roadside stop. The menu is basic, but quality. The staff is friednly and helpful. Great place to pull up for an hour, have a cup of coffee, and take a break. Support your local Van Horn / I-10 economy!

Fast response time if you're on the go, and the food is great. Amazing staff as well.

Wendy's, Subway, and McD's are nearby. Go there!! Cleanliness is not a priority.

Fresh food and good service.

This cafe hasn't been updated or cleaned in decades. I can't fathom that this place would pass a legitimate health inspection. Poor hygiene, greasy food, and inattentive staff....stear far clear of this place.

Was here this morning and I know it's not the most fanciest place but the food was so amazing. I had the menudo and it taste just like mom's. The portion serving was huge. Also the service was outstanding. Nice people great food. And great atmosphere. Next time I'm in town definitely stopping in.😁

Staff was nice, place was clean, however, all food is straight from the fridge/freezer to the grill/deep fryer. You could go to your local grocery store and get something to fry at 1/4 the cost. We left over half our food, and made a note to never go here again.

The building doesn't look like it would be a good place to eat but the food is excellent just like us truckers like it

Wait staff were friendly and I decided to order simple for my first visit. Cheesburger and fries. Burger was very good and the fries were also. Now, it's mom and pop hamburger and fries, so don't expect it to be like fast food. But, both were delicious and I will be returning and trying more items on the menu

The chicken was good but they charge $2 for a can of soda. I was traveling through on a Greyhound and that's where we stopped. Go to Loves across the street its cheaper.

great place to get a quick bite to eat after you fill up your truck at the Love's truck stop it looks like they have good Mexican food here I ordered the number 69 combo comes with a beef enchilada a cheese enchilada a tamale and a taco I think with rice and beans they make their chips fresh to order as you can tell by my photo they overcooked them a little bit the salsa is spicy to my liking and the best part is they have executive truck parking right out front the waitress a younger lady is a little timid and shy she said she's new the older lady seems very nice and friendly. I just read the other reviews and I'm definitely not going to check out the bathroom because I already ordered my food and I'm hungry LOL

This place was aweful. Start to finish!! Gross food. Over an hour for chicken strips. Inedible save yourself and avoid this place!!

BBQ brisket was awesome. Burguers were great too.I definitely recommend if you're the in Van Horn area .

Was on a trip in a greyhound and on the way we stopped here. It's a nice restaurant with a family feel to it. Service was very kind and they even offered some free food. Definitely worth visiting.

I had the hamburger steak and fries. It was good and the waitress was topnotch. Excellent service.

The food tasted good. But the place wasnt as clean as expected. Bathrooms looked like they were out of a horror movie. Place could use a deep clean job.

Omg! We found this small hole in the wall restaurant when our truck broke down.... Best food I've had in months. I had the pork chops....WOW!!!! Definitely try this place.....

place not clean, ceiling fans covered in thick dirt. french fries tasted like a day old and warmed in microwave. burger and bun burned. Do not recommend this cafe.

I just walked over there and it’s 7:23 . It was 7:10 when I went over there. Young lady with glasses says to me we are closed! Well your website says 9pm. Well she tells me they close at 8 it’s not even 8 pm very unsatisfactory

I got the 3 tacos plate, rice beans and homemade chips and salsa, it was great, not too salty with nice flavor. Everything hear is from scratch

Great place for a meal! Super nice employees and very good food. They have truck parking, which is a huge plus for me. Reasonable prices too. They make house made tarter and salsa, both of which I really enjoyed.

Decent food not the most consistent but way overpriced

Stopped by a couple of days ago. The young lady serving us was great, but couldn't make up for the food. The meat, beans and rice lacked salt. The rice was too dry. The Mexican cokes were cold, though.The women's restroom was tiny, there was no toilet paper and the floor was wet due to a leak. No changing table either.There was a flat screen TV, but the atmosphere was rather dull.

Food took a long time and wasn't worth the wait and kind of high for the quality place seemed to need a good cook and a good cleaning I bet it was a great place years ago

Went there yesterday my employee & I had the chicken fried steak WAS PITIFUL it was about 1 oz the French fries was hand cut but God the grease was something else. THE GREASE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED A MONTH AGO the service was average the PRICE WAS HORRIBLE 30.00 then had to stop and get pizza to finish off dinner I WOULD AVOID THIS DUMP

Visiting the area and we stopped in for lunch. Ordered beef enchiladas with red sauce. Meat was barely seasoned and the red sauce tasted like someone just dumped a can of tomato sauce on top and melted cheese on it. This place needs management badly. The server was also cooking and bussing. Two people came in and left without getting service. The air conditioner doesn't work and it's "cooled" by ceiling fans. There are tiles missing from the floor. Suggestion: close down and remodel, then hire staff and management. Ambiance was sub par.

Enchilada special was ok. BYOB made it better.

Restaurant was run down, food was old and greasy, unknown if it had a health inspection. Food made wife very sick. Would not recommend this place to anybody

Very good food and service

Stopped at this restaurant on our way to El Paso from Dallas. Being the last place to dine in going east, the place needs upkeep. Inside looks dirty. Customer skills a must...food not appetizing.

Perfect place for fast bites fairly nice prices and they sell cigarettes

Too expressive for quality, but you should get breakfast instead of Mexican food.

I should have known what to expect when the sign in the window says “Enchilodas”. I am only giving one star because the food was fairly good. Service was sloooooow and sloppy. Restrooms are in a construction area and not fully functional. Change is not correctly made. We watched one couple sit down and walk out because no one came to take their order.

Good place and one of the best Burritos I've ever had, staff was great.

Service was good and that's about it. Ordered pancake Vegie and Ole Omelets, Fried Chicken. Watermelon, Cake at the deli. Didnt like the food at all.
